Why you need it
Car sockets sag. This fixes it
Starlink Mini needs at least 12V to run. A 12V system can easily sag below that on a long cable run, with a flat-ish battery, in the cold or under load, and the Mini drops out or will not start. A step-up booster turns that 9–15V into a steady 30V, so the Mini always gets what it needs.
Cigarette sockets are especially prone to this, because of thin factory wiring and long runs from the battery.

Frequently asked questions
Does it work in a 24V truck?
No. The input is 9–15V DC, so it suits 12V sockets only.
Can I hardwire it instead?
For a fixed install we recommend TVD-SL28, which has an Anderson plug input.
Which cable connects it to the Mini?
The Mini's own DC cable, or our 3m or 5m DC cable for a shorter run.
Will it drain my car battery?
The Mini uses about 25–40W. Unplug it when the engine is off for long periods, unless you have a second battery.
Is it waterproof?
Yes. The aluminium case is fully silicone potted and rated IP67.
What's the warranty?
12 months against manufacturing faults. Contact our team if you have any trouble.
