At about the size of a laptop and just over a kilo, Starlink Mini packs into a backpack, glovebox or drawer. The router is built in, so there is no separate box to power or mount.

Starlink Mini needs an active Starlink service plan, bought from Starlink when you activate it in the app.

Add a 30V booster for a stable connection
Starlink Mini runs on 12–48V DC and averages 25–40W, roughly 2 to 3.5Ah an hour at 12V. But on long cable runs or under load, a 12V system can sag low enough to cause dropouts.
Our 12V to 30V step-up boosters keep the voltage steady so the Mini stays online. Choose the Anderson plug for battery boxes, the cigarette plug for any 12V accessory socket, or the short-cable version for our roof rack mounts.

Shorter cables
Lose the 15m of excess cable
The Mini comes with a 15m DC cable. That is great for reaching a spot out in the open, but in most cars and caravans it leaves metres of cable to coil and stash.
Add a 3m or 5m cable for a neat, tidy install and keep the 15m for camp.
Carry cases
You will need a case
Once you open the Starlink Mini, it will not go back into its original box. The packaging is made to ship it once, not to store or carry it. A proper case keeps the dish, cables and power supply together and safe from knocks and dust.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a Starlink subscription?
Yes. Starlink Mini needs an active Starlink service plan, which you buy from Starlink when you activate the kit in the Starlink app.
Can I run it off 12V?
Yes. It runs on 12–48V DC. On a 12V system we recommend one of our 12V to 30V boosters to avoid dropouts from voltage drop.
Can I run it off a power tool battery?
Yes. Our 18V battery adaptors suit Milwaukee, Makita, DeWalt and Ryobi batteries.
Is the included cable too long?
The kit includes a 15m DC cable. For cars and caravans, a 3m or 5m cable gives a much tidier install.
Do I need a case?
Yes. Once opened, the Mini will not go back into its original box, so you need somewhere to store and carry it. Choose our hard case or padded soft case.
How much power does it use?
About 25–40W on average, roughly 2 to 3.5Ah an hour at 12V. A 100Ah lithium battery can run it for more than a day.
Can I power it from a USB-C power bank?
Yes, with a USB-C power bank or car charger rated for 100W USB-C PD, and a USB-C to DC cable made for the Mini.
How fast is it?
Download speeds of over 100 Mbps, depending on your plan, location and view of the sky.
Is it waterproof?
It is IP67 rated with the DC cable and Starlink plug installed, and works from -30°C to 50°C.
What's the warranty?
12 months manufacturer warranty.
