Avoid dropouts
12V sockets can sag
The Mini needs at least 12V. Cigarette sockets often have thin factory wiring and a long run from the battery, so a 12V socket can sag below that with a flat-ish battery or the engine off.
24V trucks and motorhomes have plenty of headroom.

Does it work in a 24V truck?
Yes. It suits 12V and 24V cigarette sockets.
Why does my Mini drop out on 12V?
Usually the socket voltage sags below 12V. Our 30V cigarette plug booster fixes it.
Is it fused?
Yes. There is a replaceable fuse inside the cigarette plug.
Will it drain my car battery?
The Mini uses about 25–40W. Unplug it when the engine is off for long periods, unless you have a second battery.
Will it fit my Standard or Gen 3 dish?
No, it is made for the Starlink Mini only.
Is there a shorter or longer version?
Yes. This lead is 5m. See our 3m cigarette lead.
What's the warranty?
