DETAILS

Perception Lighting Adventure 9"

Serious light without the serious price

The Adventure 9" is a pair of 220 mm round LED driving lights with a combination beam. It reaches 810 m to 1 lux down the road and still spreads light across the verges, so you see the road ahead and whatever is about to step onto it.

With 14,600 lumens per light and a diecast aluminium body, the 9" is the one for long, dark highway runs and outback tracks where you want to see well beyond your high beams.

Perception Lighting Adventure Series 9 inch LED driving lights

Why the Adventure Series

Big light, sensible price

The Adventure Series is our entry into proper driving lights. You get the same thinking that goes into our Apex range (quality LEDs, an efficient reflector and a sealed housing) at a price that suits a first set of spotties or a work ute.

✓See further: pick up roos, cattle and signs well before your high beams do
✓See wider: the combination beam lights the shoulders, not just the centre line
✓Fit and forget: IP68 sealed for river crossings, dust and wash bays

Beam

810 m to 1 lux

The Adventure 9" reflector was designed and tested to put the light where you need it: a strong centre for distance, with plenty of flood either side. The lux diagram shows the pair reaching 1 lux at 810 m.

1 lux is the industry yardstick for usable light on the road, so it is the fair way to compare driving lights.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Adventure 9" sold as a pair?

Yes. You get two lights, two brackets, two clear protective covers and Deutsch plugs.

Will they work on a 24 V truck?

Yes. They run on both 12 V and 24 V systems.

Do I need a wiring harness?

Yes. A driving light harness with a relay and switch is sold separately. If you are unsure what suits your vehicle, please contact our team.

Should I get the Adventure 9" or the Adventure 7"?

Choose the 9" for maximum light and reach on open roads. Choose the Adventure 7" (173 mm, 468 m to 1 lux) for smaller vehicles and bars.

How do they compare to the Apex range?

The Apex 7" and Apex 8.5" use Osram LEDs, a hyper spot reflector and IP69K sealing for much longer reach (1,480 m and 1,786 m to 1 lux). The Adventure Series is the better choice when you want a wide, useful beam on a tighter budget.
