The Apex Quad is a pair of compact 188 x 137 mm LED driving lights that do two jobs. At night, 17 genuine Osram LEDs per light and a precision-engineered driving reflector put 1 lux of light 977 m down the road. By day, built-in white daytime running lights make your vehicle easier for other road users to see.

Multi-volt 9-32 V input suits cars, 4WDs and trucks, and IP68 sealing keeps them working when submerged to 3 m.

Daytime running lights

Be seen by day, see by night

White DRL strips on each side of the lens stay on while you drive. They are not bright enough to light the road, but they make your vehicle much easier for other drivers, riders and pedestrians to spot.

NRMA research found four out of five daytime intersection crashes involve one road user not seeing another in time, and overseas studies credit DRLs with preventing between 7% and 25% of fatal daytime crashes.

At 188 mm wide and 69 mm deep, the Apex Quad fits where a big round light won’t: in a row across a roof rack, between the uprights of a bull bar, or above a light bar.

Is the Apex Quad sold as a pair?

Yes. You get two lights, two heavy-duty brackets, stainless mounting hardware and two sets of Deutsch plugs.

Will it run on 24 V?

Yes. The 9-32 V DC input suits 12 V and 24 V vehicles, including trucks.

Can I wire the DRLs separately?

The DRL is built into each light. For wiring advice for your vehicle, please contact our team.

Do I need a wiring harness?

Yes, a driving light harness with a relay and switch is needed and is sold separately.

Will they fog up inside?

A breather valve in each light equalises pressure to stop condensation forming behind the lens.

Which Apex should I choose?

For the longest reach, the round Apex 7" and 8.5" use a spot reflector. For the widest light on tight tracks, the Apex 180 spreads its beam across 180°. For a compact square light with daytime running lights, choose the Apex Quad. Also in the range: the Apex 7" (185 mm, 1,480 m), the Apex 8.5" (220 mm, 1,786 m) and the Apex 180 (215 mm, 180° spread).
