The Bushman DC85-X is Bushman's best selling upright fridge for 4x4 canopies, now in the 2026 Heavy Duty Series.
It fits most campers, caravans, canopies, tiny houses and boats, and gives you a lot of usable space for its size. An oversize refrigeration unit and an internal fan keep it cool evenly while keeping power use low.

The DC85-X takes 2L milk bottles in the door, stands up tall bottles inside and has a 6L freezer for ice and ice packs, all in a cabinet 475mm wide and 625mm tall. It averages about 1.25 to 1.3Ah per hour.
The 6L freezer compartment (about 210 x 350 x 90mm) holds ice cube trays and ice packs at around -12 °C.

Will 2L milk bottles fit in the door?
Yes, 2L milk bottles fit in the door of the DC85-X.
Does the door stick out past the fridge when opened?
No. At 90° the door stays within the cabinet width. Only the handle sticks out, by about 20mm.
What battery and solar does it need?
Bushman recommends a 150Ah AGM or 100Ah lithium battery with about 300W of solar. That runs it for at least three days and nights.
How do I mount it?
Use the supplied mounting frame, the internal mounting sleeves, a Bushman aluminium fridge box, or your own brackets.
Can I run it on 240V?
Yes, through a 240V to 12V transformer. Most owners run it from their battery bank and use a smart charger on mains power.
