The Bushman DC225L-X is Bushman's largest Heavy Duty Series caravan fridge: a 225L two door 12V fridge built on the DC190L-X platform.
It cools efficiently in up to 43 °C ambient, with a Secop Danfoss BD80-CN high capacity compressor and a full copper internal refrigeration system built for the long haul.

You get a 45L freezer at around -15 °C, wide door storage for 2L milk bottles and a simple set and forget thermostat. It is a direct swap for the Dometic RPD218 12V fridge.
The 45L freezer (about 440 x 300 x 330mm inside) runs at around -15 °C.

Will it replace my Dometic fridge?
Bushman says it is a direct swap for the Dometic RPD218 12V fridge. For a Dometic RM4805 gas fridge you have the width and depth, but may need about 35mm more height.
Will it fit through my caravan door?
With the doors removed it is only 525mm deep.
How big is the freezer?
The 45L freezer is about 440mm wide, 300mm deep and 330mm tall inside.
What battery and solar does it need?
Bushman recommends a 240Ah AGM or 140Ah lithium battery with about 400W of solar. That runs it for at least three days and nights.
Can the doors open from either side?
Yes. The hinges and latch can be moved from the right side to the left.
