BLUETTI Sora 500

500W of solar in one folding panel

The Sora 500 is BLUETTI’s big folding panel: 500W from 12 panel sections that fold down to 570 x 445 x 85 mm and weigh 12.9 kg. BLUETTI says it’s 40% smaller and 28% lighter than a conventional 500W panel.

N-type mono cells reach up to 25% conversion efficiency. The ETFE surface wipes clean, and it’s IP67 water resistant for dusty tracks and wet mornings.

It runs on a standard MC4 connector. At 49.1V open circuit, one Sora 500 suits power stations with a 12-60V solar input, like the Premium 200 V2, Elite 400 and each of the Apex 300’s two solar inputs.

Plug it into your power station with the MC4 lead and keep the fridge, lights and devices running off the sun. One panel suits units with a 12-60V solar input. BLUETTI shows an Apex 300 charging to full in about 4 hours from two Sora 500s, and an Elite 100 V2 in about 3.1 hours from one.

Frequently asked questions

Which power stations suit the Sora 500?

Ones with an MC4-compatible solar input that accepts 49.1V open circuit. From our range that includes the Premium 100 V2, Premium 200 V2 and Elite 400 (12-60V) and the Apex 300 (two 12-60V inputs, one panel on each). It’s too high in voltage for 12-28V units like the AC2P and AC50P. Two in series (about 98V) only suit high-voltage inputs like the AC200P L.

Does it have USB ports?

No. The Sora 500 only has MC4 connectors. It’s made to charge a power station, not phones directly.

Is it waterproof?

No. It’s IP67 water resistant, which covers splashes. Don’t leave it out in the rain or sitting in water for long.

Can I mix it with other solar panels?

BLUETTI doesn’t recommend it. For the best results, use panels of the same type and brand.

Can I mount it on my house roof?

No. It’s a portable folding panel.

Will it work with a non-BLUETTI power station?

Yes, if it has MC4 connectors and its solar input voltage and current suit the panel. contact our team and we’ll check your unit.
