Sausage rolls, nuggets, pies and chips at camp, cooked in as little as 15 minutes. The 12 Volt Direct Air Fryer runs at just 250W, where a typical mains fryer can use up to 1500W.

It plugs straight into an Anderson-style socket on your battery system, so there's no inverter and no gas.

Anderson plug: check your socket

The air fryer comes with a 50A Anderson-style plug and draws about 22A. Cigarette lighter and Merit sockets are usually wired for a maximum of 10A, so don't use an adapter to run it from one of those.

Do I need an inverter?

No. It runs directly from a 12V battery through a 50A Anderson-style plug.

Can I use a cigarette or Merit socket?

No. Those are usually wired for a maximum of 10A and the fryer draws about 22A. Don't use an adapter. Use an Anderson-style socket with adequately sized cable.
