Three plugs included
The Road Chef draws 8.3A (100W) at 12V, so it runs happily from a dual battery system, battery box or lithium setup. It comes with three ways to connect:
- ✓Fused Anderson plug: the best option, for a solid low-resistance connection
- ✓Cigarette lighter plug
- ✓Merit (Hella) plug, common in boats and European vehicles
The thermostat cycles the element once the oven is up to temperature, so real-world use is usually well under 8.3Ah per hour of cooking.

Allow about 30 minutes to preheat. You can preheat while you drive.
Can I use it while driving?
Yes. Secure it with the two included tie-down brackets.
What plug does it use?
