Olight i1R 2 EOS
A real torch on your keyring
The i1R 2 EOS is about as slim as your little finger and weighs 13.5 g, yet it puts out up to 150 lumens.
Twist the head a little for 5 lumens, a bit more for 150 lumens. The battery is built in and charges by micro-USB in about 75 minutes, so there are no cells to swap.
Two modes
Twist for low or high
- ✓Low, 5 lumens: for finding the keyhole, reading a gauge or getting around camp without blinding anyone. Runs up to 6 hours.
- ✓High, 150 lumens: for checking under the bonnet, finding a dropped bolt or lighting the path to the car.
- ✓No buttons: a slight twist turns it on, a bit more goes to high, twist back to switch off.
Charging
No batteries to buy
The 70 mAh battery is built in. Lift the cover on the body and plug in a micro-USB cable from a USB charger, laptop or power bank, and it is full in about 75 minutes. There is no need to take the light apart.
Everyday carry
Small enough to forget it is there
At 13.5 g it adds next to nothing to your keys. Keep one on the ute keys, the toolbag zip or the camping box, and you will always have a light within reach.
