BLUETTI Charger 2

Alternator and solar into one charger

Charger 2 charges your power station from the vehicle alternator and solar panels at the same time, up to 1,200W combined. No switching leads over.

It takes up to 800W from a 12V or 24V starter battery and up to 600W from solar (13–50V). Bluetti rates it 13x faster than a standard car socket and twice as fast as Charger 1.

BLUETTI says Charger 2 works with all BLUETTI power stations, including the Apex 300, Elite 400, Elite 300, Elite 200 V2, Elite 100 V2 and AC200L it sells it with, plus the AC2A, AC50B, AC60, AC70, AC180, AC180T, AC200MAX, AC240, AC300, AC500, EB3A, EB55 and EB70S named in its setup guide. It also suits most third-party power stations that charge from solar through MC4 (some may charge unevenly).

More than a charger

12V and 24V power, engine on or off

Add the BLUETTI DC Hub for Charger 2 to run fridges, lights, fans and other 12V or 24V gear, up to 600W shared across its ports. Put a BLUETTI battery on the BAT port and the hub keeps running with the engine off.

Which power stations does Charger 2 work with?

BLUETTI says Charger 2 works with all BLUETTI power stations, including the Apex 300, Elite 400, Elite 300, Elite 200 V2, Elite 100 V2 and AC200L it sells it with, plus the AC2A, AC50B, AC60, AC70, AC180, AC180T, AC200MAX, AC240, AC300, AC500, EB3A, EB55 and EB70S named in its setup guide. It also suits most third-party power stations that charge from solar through MC4 (some may charge unevenly).

What vehicle battery does it need?

A standard 12V or 24V starter battery, or two 12V batteries in series. It suits hybrids with an alternator and starter battery, but not EVs.

How does it reach 1,200W?

Total charging is capped at 1,200W. Solar comes first (up to 600W), the starter battery supplies up to 800W, and an auxiliary battery on the BAT port can make up the rest.

Will it drain my car battery?

No. It stops drawing power 3 to 6 seconds after the engine shuts off and stops charging if the starter battery falls too low (12V / 26V). The optional D+ signal wire helps with smart alternators.

Can I use my Hub D1 with Charger 2?

Not directly. Hub D1 (the Apex 300 hub) does not connect to Charger 2. Use the DC Hub for Charger 2 instead, or connect Hub D1 to an Apex 300 or B300K/B500K that Charger 2 charges.

Can it jump-start my vehicle?

Reverse charging can recharge a low starter battery to help start the engine. Emergency jump-start only works when the starter battery is below 12.6V.
