Bushman Heavy Duty Series drawer fridge
Deep freezing in any heat
The Bushman DF30-HD is a heavy duty 12V drawer fridge freezer that holds -18 °C in 45 °C heat. Ice-cream in the Simpson Desert is no problem.
Built for 4WD canopies, drawer systems and caravan settees, it runs 365 days a year on corrugated roads. Use it as a deep freezer, a fridge or a dedicated drinks fridge.

The DF30-HD uses the Secop Danfoss Heavy Duty series compressor with twin cross-flow fans, stainless steel drawer runners and a steel slam latch. As a fridge at 4 °C it averages about 0.5Ah per hour in 25 °C heat.

Can I use it as a fridge or a freezer?
Both. Set it to 4 °C as a fridge, or -18 °C as a proper deep freezer.
How many cans fit?
28 x 375ml cans fit upright in the 25L tub (490 x 300 x 170mm inside).
What battery and solar does it need?
As a fridge, Bushman recommends a 120Ah AGM or 80Ah lithium battery with about 200W of solar. As a deep freezer, a 300Ah AGM or 240Ah lithium battery with about 500W of solar. That is about three days and nights at 30 °C ambient.
How do I mount it?
Use the supplied L brackets, the internal mounting sleeves or the M5 nut inserts on each side. It can be fitted flush to your cabinetwork.
Can I run it on 240V?
Yes, through a 240V to 12V transformer. Most owners run it from their battery bank.
