Designed to fit where other batteries can't, the TVD-LBS100 is the ideal solution to mount behind seats, in canopies or behind drawers.
It packs 100Ah of capacity into a slim 50mm chassis and weighs only 13kg.

Why lithium?
Lithium batteries provide far more usable amp hours than lead-acid. They can be deeply discharged without affecting cycle life, so you can use the battery for longer before recharging. AGM batteries are generally only discharged to 50% of their capacity to protect their cycle life, while lithium can generally be discharged to 80–90%.
Cost
A lithium battery costs more up front, but its cycle life is far longer. Lead-acid batteries typically last 300–900 cycles. Lithium lasts 2,000+ cycles at a much deeper discharge, so you'd expect to replace a lead-acid battery 2 or 3 times over the life of one lithium.

Longer life
Lithium batteries are rated for 2,000–5,000 cycles, and more if used carefully. That's several times the life expectancy of standard lead-acid batteries.
Powerful
Lithium lets you pull far more amps out of the same size battery system.
Lightweight
Lithium batteries are less than half the weight of the equivalent lead-acid battery.
Fast recharge
Lithium charges more efficiently and needs fewer charging stages, so it charges faster and holds more of the energy from solar panels and other chargers.

The 12 Volt Direct difference
Deep cycle batteries may look similar on the outside, but there are key differences between low-quality offerings on online auction sites and 12 Volt Direct's premium batteries.
Prismatic cells
The TVD-LBS100 uses four high-quality 3.2V 100Ah prismatic cells connected in series. Prismatic cells outperform cheaper cylindrical cells because they are more stable and shock-resistant.
Built-in battery management system (BMS)
The internal BMS monitors and balances each cell. It protects the battery from over-charge, over-discharge, over-temperature and short circuit, for safe and accurate operation.
Fits where other batteries can't
Suited to custom installs, the TVD-LBS100 fits where others simply can't. This custom install is behind the rear quarter panel of a 200 Series Toyota LandCruiser. Credit to authorised reseller Advanced Installation Service.
Built-in voltmeter
An LCD screen on top of the battery shows its level of charge at any time. The screen is backlit, so it's easy to read day or night.
Twin 120A Anderson-style connectors
Both connectors can be used for high-current charging and discharging. They also make the battery easy to remove and move between setups.
Please note: the batteries come with grey plugs, not blue as seen in the picture.
Mounting brackets included
The TVD-LBS100 comes with straight and right-angle mounting brackets and screws for easy fitment. Our slimline batteries have mounting points built in, so there's no need to drill out rivets to fit the brackets.
Frequently asked questions
Will it fit in my vehicle?
It measures 600 × 275 × 50mm, so it suits behind seats, in canopies and behind drawer systems. It's shown behind the rear seat of a VW Amarok and behind the rear quarter panel of a 200 Series LandCruiser. Contact our team with your vehicle details if you're unsure.
How do I mount it?
Straight and right-angle brackets and screws are included. The case has mounting points built in, so there's no need to drill out rivets.
How long will it last?
It's rated for 2,000 cycles at 85% depth of discharge. A typical lead-acid battery lasts 300–900 cycles.
How does 100Ah lithium compare to AGM?
You can use 80–90% of a lithium battery's capacity, compared with about 50% for AGM. That makes this 100Ah lithium roughly equal to a 160Ah AGM, at less than half the weight.
How much power can it supply?
Up to 100A continuous and 200A for 5 seconds. Talk to us before pairing it with a large inverter.
How do I charge it?
Use a charger, DC-DC charger or solar regulator with a lithium (LiFePO4) setting. Charge voltage is 14.6V and maximum charge current is 50A.
Can I connect more than one?
Yes. Up to four can be wired in series, or four in parallel.
What connectors does it have?
Twin 120A Anderson-style connectors, both rated for charging and discharging. They're grey, not the blue shown in some photos.
Is it safe?
